One day everything just turns green. A bouquet of flowers poke out every where. Even the air is scented when you walk by.
Not too long ago, barren trees dotted the roads. Brown and red hues covered the land. And then suddenly here we are. How things have changed. Sometimes changes happen in our art life as well that seem overnight but actually have taken months or years to realize. Curiosity is the foundation of art. And when we are curious, we discover new ways of being.
Many years ago, I tried to use a thin gauge of wire for my wire crochet projects and I just couldn't grasp it. It was too light and flimsy. I went back to my usual type of wire. Fast forward to a couple years ago, when I tried it again out of necessity because I had run out of my usual wire; it worked perfectly. So perfect that now I only use the thinner gauge wire. I wonder if I wasn't skilled enough back then to handle the thinner gauge or maybe I wasn't patient enough. I may never know. but what I do know is that my art is better for it. Things just take time and sometimes, what doesn’t work today might be exactly what you need tomorrow. Stay curious.
