In my last blog post I talked about the creative chaos of my studio space. So here are some of the things I have been working on:

I made a large wire crochet wall hanging a few years ago and I have been working on making it bigger. I have been wire crocheting little open cocoons to attach to the larger piece. I submitted it to a gallery to exhibit later on next month.

Last week, I sent one of my favorite customers a few custom made chokers. She sent me pictures of her shoes as inspiration. I loved it…Lol. She was attending a large conference and wanted to wear some new pieces.

I've been working on a very special custom design lately—an experience that has been both inspiring and a little bit nerve-wracking. It’s been a true creative adventure, filled with so much joy and a touch of fear. I was given a lot of freedom in the design process, which was exciting but also came with the quiet hope that what I created would truly resonate with her. I’ll be sharing a longer post soon, diving deeper into the journey and what made this project so meaningful.

I've been practicing making fruit out of polymer clay. I will be teaching a class where participants will make fruit jewelry.

And finally, I’ve started reading this year’s Stowe Prize winner James by Percival Everett. I am enjoying it so much!! If you have read it let me know your thoughts. I will be creating the prize for this award for the third time later on this summer.

So those are some of the things going on in my studio right now. Creative chaos; I wouldn't have it any other way even if I tried!
