This week in the studio: Custom Earrings

Here is a picture of my work table as I was designing and putting together singlet earrings for my friend Maria. She loves to wear mismatch earrings and long single earrings. Once the ideas started flowing, it is hard for me to stop and so i made about 10 pairs of earrings and I could have made more. I was in that flow state or I call it being a vessel for creativity. I lose track of time and I'm not concerned with nothing else but to make earrings. It is a joyful feeling to experience. In these moments, there is no time for clean up just on to the next idea. Creativity is creation and destruction all at the same time. Now it's time for clean up.
